May through July 2016
Last year the Plein Air Painters had a great time painting in the Parklands of Beckley Creek, Pope Lick and Turkey Run Parks. We painted there from May through October.
Beauty abounds everywhere in these parks. I will repeat what the Parkland of Floyds Fork brochure says “it’s an outdoor paradise!”
There was a reception on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 out in the Gheens Center which is in Beckley Creek. In case you couldn't make that date, then the full exhibit of the Parkland Paintings will be up in Jane Morgan gallery on May 4th through July 30, 2016; gallery located at 4838 Brownsboro Center which is on the corner of Brownsboro road and Rudy Lane.
There will be a reception on Thursday, May 12 at the gallery from 5 to 8 p.m. You are cordially invited to attend and see these beautiful works by the Plein Air Painters of Kentucky.
Note: At both exhibits, for each painting sold, 20% will go to the Parkland Funds!
We hope to see you at the Gallery! Stop in anytime. The day /hours are: Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday from 11 a.m to 4 p.m.; Sat., 11 a.m - 2 pm., or by appointment.
The reason the gallery is not open on Thursday is because the group is out painting en plein air that day preparing for the next big exhibit.
